Digital Kulcha is more than just a multimedia business. It is part of a new and growing movement of social enterprises that has grown out of the community sector and aims to provide a service that is based on fair and ethical practices. It aims to blend the business of making a living in a sustainable, equitable fashion.

Digital Kulcha’s director, Toula Karayannis has over 25 years experience teaching in and managing community education programs. She managed the Duke Street Community House (Sunshine, Melbourne) Adult Community Education program from 1988 to 2002. In 2003 she took a leave of absence to gain her Diploma of Multimedia (Swinburne University of Technology). In 2005 she started Digital Kulcha, an enterprise aimed at helping individuals, small business and community non-profit organizations with all their multimedia needs. In 2006 she returned to Duke Street Community House 4 days a month. where she now works as their Special Projects Co-ordinator.
